Terms

kSoftware terms of use

These terms apply to the kSoftware website and software made available through it. Individual products may include additional licence terms in their installers or documentation.

Website use

You may browse the website and download software for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass its security, misuse its download services, or use its content to misrepresent yourself or another product as being associated with kSoftware.

Software licences

kSoftware applications are licensed, not sold. The licence shown by an installer or supplied with a product governs that application. Product pages are summaries and do not replace the complete licence agreement.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website, software, code, designs, names, graphics and associated materials remain the property of their respective kSoftware author or rights holder. No ownership is transferred by downloading or using a product.

Downloads and third parties

Software should be obtained from ksoftware.uk or an authorised distribution source. Links and optional integrations provided by third parties are also governed by those providers' terms. Their availability and operation are outside kSoftware's direct control.

No warranty

The website and software are provided “as is” without warranties of reliability, availability, performance or fitness for a particular purpose. Users remain responsible for suitable backups and for deciding whether a product is appropriate for their environment.

Liability and governing law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for loss of data, profits, system stability or other damages arising from use of the website or software. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
